As seasoned alpaca breeders since 2004, we take pride in inspiring and educating the new alpaca enthusiast in the alpaca lifestyle. Many of the inquiries about our services lead to new alpaca breeders who in turn become long term clients and friends.

Since we offer such a wide variety of services and education, we asked a few of our clients to share their experiences of working with us; marketing, buying, selling, agisting, breeding, birthing, transporting or overall herd management. We also provide ongoing education in the form of an emailed newsletter, eBooks & MP3 interviews with alpaca experts.

If you have had a good experience utilizing our education or services, you are invited to leave a comment here too.

Julie and her husband Don have been so helpful and informative. They have really taken their time educating me and showing me the ropes. They have really made me feel like no question was a stupid question. I am so glad I have them to help me grow my business!

I strongly recommend Julie and Don Roy and Alpacas4less for those who are just starting out in their adventure as alpaca ranchers. They brokered a deal for us, walked us through the whole process and provided mentorship to us, as well. They answered all of our questions with patience and understanding. Since our initial purchase, we bought additional animals from Alpacas of Anza Valley and bred three of our females to their herdsires.

My research led me to Julie Roy, an accomplished alpaca farmer with a wealth of knowledge about alpacas. I visited Julie’s web page often and finally took the plunge by purchasing her Alpaca Business Secrets Power Pack and signing up for her Profiting with Alpacas newsletter. The information in The Business Secrets Power Pack was instrumental in the ultimate purchase of my starter herd in December 2011 with Julie’s help.

Julie’s unwavering support once you purchase her products, the alpaca experience you can glean from the materials and the one-on-one support far exceeds any formal education you purchase and attend at a higher cost both monetarily and time expenditure.

Julie is an amazing teacher with a true passion for the alpaca and the agri/urban lifestyle. Her passion is contagious and the more time I spend with my alpacas, the more I wonder why I waited so long to reimagine my lifestyle!

Your help and guidance in accomplishing my dream of breeding alpacas has been indispensable! Your extensive knowledge and advice was (and continues to be) so helpful and took a great deal of my fear out of proceeding with my dream. The animals you advised me to buy are great and healthy and I love how you spend so much time with all your alpacas — both your own and mine — and how you related to me that, daily, you have to go out with the animals to “get your alpaca fix.” This little detail conveyed to me your love of the animals and your care in tending to all of them, whether they were part of your own herd, or agisting on your ranch. Your love and care showed, too, in how healthy my animals were when I finally took delivery of them. Thank you so much for all you’ve done. You will be the first person I call when I need advice or information on alpacas and their fiber, or to purchase another alpaca to add to my small herd. You’ve been GREAT!

Beautiful! Now I’m jealous of you and your alpacas. I love to buy yarn when I’m on a trip. It squeezes so easily into a suitcase and keeps lovely memories of the trip. I agree a scarf would be so so nice. A reminder of a warm summer trip every time you wrap yourself up.

I told Julie what we were looking for in alpacas and she took the time to even search other ranches for the perfect angels we were looking for, and then some (so great we ended up taking them all)! We ended up with not only awesome alpacas with amazing lineage, but at an incredible price as well. She even choreographed the transport of our girls to their new home for us. It’s great to know that once we bought our herd, the relationship wasn’t severed. In fact Julie continues to mentor us.

Julie and Don saved my crias life. I didn’t buy my alpacas from them. They didn’t owe me anything. Everything seemed normal the day our alpaca delivered her cria. I knew something was very wrong about an hour after birth. I tried calling the vet, and the farm I bought my alpacas from. Both calls went straight to voicemail. Then I called Julie. I had met her at one of her open farm days several months before. She and Don dropped everything and drove to my house and stayed with me throughout the entire process. They cared about us. They both assisted the vet when he arrived. If it weren’t for them, my cria would not have lived. I will never forget what they did for us. We love you guys!
